Innovative Engine: Internal Combustion Engine without Combustion Firing

European Paten Office request

Internal combustion engines usually used for general purpose , 4 stroke or Turbines in different configurations,
are Known to have an efficiency ranging from 20% to 40% at best.

The potential chemical energy contained in fuel is dispersed from the radiator, the lubrication system and the exhaust pipe, only part of this energy is turned into mechanical work.

The new system intends to keep the heat and turn it into a motion, minimizing leakage using known technologies.

Known but newly adopted.

Another point of interest lies in usable fuel that could be either liquid or gaseous with NO additives like in normal gasoline and diesel used for tipical internal combustion engines, so cheap.

Summarizing all the concept:

  • A constant volume and sealed inside chamber , where by a
combustion generates a fluid on pressure.

  • Pressure transient bound to the temperature, the system has a strong isolation which prevents dispersion.
  • The heat is converted into electricity with thermal cells.
  • The fluid is packaged and made accessible to mechanical processing.
  • The work done to compress the air needed for combustion, energy
expensive, gives rise to a warming of the mechanical parts, also recovered with
    systems in place.

  • The fluid discharge is released at low temperature after selling its energy.

Briefly, the system is designed to produce electricity and no hot water.

For those interested in more extensive documentation is available.
